TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Pat Paschall rushed for four touchdowns Saturday to lead North Dakota State. Paschall piled up 129 yards and scored on runs of 29, 43, 2 and 4 yards for North Dakota State (3-7, 2-5 Missouri Valley). Sam Ojuri also ran 3 yards for a TD. Quarterback Jose Mohler was 10 of 12 for 170 yards and scoring strikes of 9 yards to Matt Veldman and 15 yards to Matt Voigtlander. Kevin Jackson also scored on a 4-yard return of a blocked punt. Antoine Brown paced Indiana State (1-10, 1-7) with 111 yards rushing, including a 42-yard touchdown. Quarterback Ryan Roberts ran 1 yard for a TD for the Sycamores and finished 13 of 23 passing for 119 yards.

Southern Illinois 44, Missouri State 24.

CARBONDALE, Ill. — Southern Illinois claimed the outright Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) Championship. The decisive win for SIU (9-1, 8-0) sets a new league record as the 14th-straight MVFC victory for the Salukis. Senior running back Deji Karim had three rushing touchdowns on the day to lead the way offensively for SIU as he recorded his seventh 100-yard rushing game this season. Karim totaled 160 all-purpose yards and 117 rushing yards on 14 carries. Missouri State (6-5, 4-4) was led offensively by running back Chris Douglas who had a 65-yard touchdown run and 106 total rushing yards for the day.
