NEW WATERFORD — James Christopher Laverie and his bride, the former Angie Renae Workman, both of 1837 Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, were honored during a reception on Sept. 12 at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana after their wedding at Lake Mount Church of Christ.

Roy Seaux officiated at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Larry and Melody Workman, 42681 Crestview Road, Leetonia, and the son of Scott and Vicki Laverie, 13998 Beaver-Springfield Road, New Springfield.

The couple honeymooned at Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and live at the Columbiana address.

The bride’s strapless white gown featured a satin bodice enhanced with beaded embroidery and a ball gown skirt.

Aubergine-colored gowns were worn by the bride’s sisters and honor attendants, Lisa Workman of Boston and Danielle Workman of Akron, and the bridesmaid, Samantha Dennison of East Palestine. Flower girl was the bride’s cousin, Aubrey Unkefer of Columbiana.

Kyle Laverie of Columbiana performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Nick Pisano of Lisbon and James Petry of Girard. Ring bearer was Tressel McCoy of Columbiana, the bride’s cousin.

The bride graduated from Casal Aveda Institute in Austintown with a managing cosmetologist license. She is a stylist at Great Clips in Boardman.

The groom is a carpenter with the A.P. O’Horo Co. in Liberty.
