“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ-TV 21; rebroadcast on the Time Warner Cable community access channel at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday): Julie Costas of Easter Seals and Nena Perkins of The Vindicator will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the “Magic of the Angels Christmas” program to benefit Easter Seals of the Mahoning Valley. The annual event kicks off the Christmas holiday season with an auction and dinner.

Next, Al Stabilito, director of communications of the American Cancer Society, will discuss the Great American Smokeout, which takes place Nov. 19 to encourage smoking cessation.

Phillip Williams of the Buckeye Neighborhood Youth Center will discuss the group’s upcoming event to showcase its new center and celebrate Buckeye Elks’ 105 years in Youngstown.

Finally, Shirley Jackson and Michael Jordan of the McGuffey Road Church of Christ will discuss their free community Thanksgiving Dinner at 4 p.m. Nov. 21.
