Christ Church Presbyterian calls new pastor

YOUNGSTOWN — Benjamin Graves is the new pastor of Christ Church Presbyterian, 1933 Canfield Road.

He attended Kent State University and received a bachelor’s degree in general studies in 2006. He earned a master of divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in June.

At the seminary, he was president of the Student Association and he focused his studies on reformed theology.

Graves interned at Shadyside Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh and focused on mission and urban ministries.

He and his wife, Karen, live in Boardman. She is a counselor at Community College of Allegheny Council.

Services are at 10:45 a.m. Sundays.
