NORTH LIMA — Mount Olivet United Church of Christ provided the setting at 2:30 p.m. July 10 as Kelly R. James and Cory D. Husted were united in marriage by the Rev. Jerry Kruse.
Parents of the bride are John and Kim James of North Lima. Mr. Husted is a son of Robert Husted of New Middletown and the late Sherri Burkey-Sheely, and stepson of Tom and Julie Sheely of New Middletown.
Fashioned of satin, the bride’s strapless ball gown featured a tangerine sash. The skirt was designed with pickup details.
The bride’s sister, Jodi James, was maid of honor. She wore a tangerine gown, as did the bridesmaids, Keri Munson, Kelly Roscoe, Bree Pruitt, Lisa Williams and the bride’s cousin, Jordan James. Flower girl was the groom’s stepsister, Savannah Sheely.
Clay Helsel was best man, and groomsmen were Paul Munson; Dan Dull, the groom’s cousin; Eric Pruitt; Don Ridzon; and Tom Sheely, the groom’s stepfather. His stepbrother, Thomas Sheely, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Husted is a magna cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a reading tutor with Springfield Local Schools in New Middletown.
The groom is a service manager with a local automotive chain in Boardman.
