YOUNGSTOWN — Food Channel celebrity chef Guy Fieri and former *NSync singer and “Dancing With the Stars” alumnus Joey Fatone will appear at Friday night’s Youngstown Phantoms hockey game at Covelli Centre.

Fieri and Fatone will meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photographs before and during the game, said Alex Zoldan, team president. They also will likely appear for some intermission activities.

Neither will perform or give a cooking demonstration.

The two men are friends of the Zoldan family, which owns the team. Fieri is in Cleveland this week giving cooking demonstrations, and Fatone had wanted to come to a hockey game, so the Zoldans arranged to have them both come to Friday’s game, said Zoldan.

The Phantoms will take on the first-place Green Bay Gamblers at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster and at the arena box office.

Fatone, who burst onto the music scene more than a decade ago with *NSYNC, had a role in the 2002 film “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.” His recent r sum includes a stint on “Dancing with the Stars” in the spring of 2007.

Fieri, winner of the second season of “The Next Food Network Star,” now hosts four shows on the cable network: “Guy off the Hook,” “Guy’s Big Bite,” “Ultimate Recipe Showdown” and “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”
