Pa. man charged with murder for fatal car crash
LIMA, Pa. (AP) — A suburban Philadelphia man is facing a murder charge for a fatal car crash.
Police say 18-year-old Johnathon Thomas Trueheart of Ambler was driving north in the southbound lanes of a road on Tuesday when he ran a red light and collided with a car, smashing the car in two.
The other driver, 33-year-old Joseph Sherlock of Upper Providence Township, was pronounced dead at the scene. Trueheart and three others were injured from the crash in Middletown Township, Delaware County.
Trueheart was arraigned today on third-degree murder and other charges. He was held without bail.
