WEDNESDAY

• Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today and Nov. 18 at the church. The menu will include salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. THURSDAY

• Boardman United Methodist Church, Market Street, Boardman, will have a turkey dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Call the church office at (330) 758-4527 for tickets. Carryouts available. The cost is $8.50 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12, and $1 for those under 5.

• Calvary United Methodist Church of North Lima, state Route 164 at 165, North Lima, will have a drive-thru chicken dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Meals include baked chicken, stuffing, green beans, baked potato and a brownie. The cost is $6. Drive to the door and someone will bring the dinner to your car. • VFW Triangle Post 2799 Auxiliary, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners with meatballs, salad, bread and coffee or tea from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. FRIDAY

• American Legion F.D.R. Post 560, 103 12th St., Campbell, will serve fish or shrimp dinners from noon to 6 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Meals include macaroni and cheese or french fries, coleslaw or haluski, and bread and butter. Desserts and beverages available. There will be a 50-50 raffle. • Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 :30 to 11 a.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

• Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.

• Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Advance sales only. Lunches will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

• St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order, call (330) 799-0084 after 6 p.m. Thursday or after 8 a.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $5 per bag of one dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

• St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.

• Potato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Cost is $4.50 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

• St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will bake Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at (330) 788-0025 between 9-11:30 a.m. only. Pickup will be until 12:30 p.m. Price is $6 for regular or Brier Hill pizza, and $5 for white pizza.

• St. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. There will be no sales Thanksgiving week. Sales resume Dec. 4.

• St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.

SATURDAY

• Bessemer Presbyterian Church, 29 N. Main St. Bessemer, Pa., will serve ham loaf dinners from 5-7 p.m. Prices are $8 for adults, $4 for children 6-12; and free for those 5 and under. Carryouts will be available. Tickets must be purchased in advance from any church member or by calling the church office at (724) 667-7255.

• Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 388 E. Midlothian Blvd., will host an Amish dinner on at the church. The prices are $13 for adults, and $6 for children 10 and under. Seatings will be at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The all-you-can eat meal includes roast beef, Amish baked chicken, old-fashioned stuffing, real mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade bread, green beans and coleslaw. • New Waterford United Methodist Church, 46925 S. State St., New Waterford, will have a pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Nov. 14. Local veterans will be honored. A donation will be accepted and proceeds will benefit the building fund.

• Old Springfield United Church of Christ, 11957 state Route 170, one mile south of New Middletown, will have its annual dinner from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tickets for a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, including dessert and a beverage, can be purchased for $8. The cost is $3.50 for children 6-12 and free for those 5 and under. Tickets can be bought at the door. There will also be a bake sale and Chinese auction from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

SUNDAY

• Austintown Community Church, 242 S. Canfield-Niles Road, will serve all-you-can-eat pancake breakfasts from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meals include sausage, orange juice, and choice of milk, coffee or tea. The cost is $5 for adults (7 years and up), $3 for children 3 to 6 and free for those 2 and younger.

• Capt. Charles M. Marino Post 3, Italian-American War Veterans, 113 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children 6 to 10. Those under 6 eat free. Carryouts will be available; containers can be purchased or patrons may provide their own. Singer Steve Fazzini will perform.

• Fowler Volunteer Fire Department will have a pancake, sausage, egg and fruit cup breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, state Route 193. Prices are $6 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and children 6 to 12, and free for preschoolers.

• Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., will be selling individual-serving-size baked ham loaves from 11 to 4 p.m. Tuesday. Cost is $1.25 each.

ONGOING

• Mended Hearts Support Group will have a holiday nut sale today through Dec. 21 at St. Elizabeth Health Center and in front of the cafeteria at the Jewish Community Center.
