Mahoning County

Provider: Youngstown City Health District. H1N1 vaccine for those recommended in tier 1 only.

Thursday: 9 a.m. to noon, Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown.

Provider: Youngstown city schools, in conjunction with the Youngstown City Health District, will have a series of H1N1 flu-inoculation clinics over the next several weeks. The clinics will serve only students in the city schools, and a parent or guardian must be present to sign for those receiving treatment. Both injection and nasal-spray inoculations will be available.

Nov. 18: 1 to 6 p.m., Taft Elementary School, for students living on the South Side of the city.

Trumbull County

Provider: Niles City Health Department, H1N1 to pregnant women, caregivers of infants younger than 6 months, health-care workers with direct-patient care, children and young adults 6 months to 24 years; people age 25 to 64 with medical conditions. Those planning to get vaccinated are encouraged to register for the vaccine online at h1n1vaccine.odh.ohio.gov or at nilesh1n1.com Web site. For questions, call (330) 544-9000, ext. 163.

Nov. 17: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., no appointment needed, at the Mayor Ralph A. Infante Wellness Center, 213 Sharkey Drive.

COLUMBIANA County

Provider: Columbiana County Health Department, 7360 state Route 45, Lisbon from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. this week, H1N1 for pregnant women with a doctor’s referral, chronically ill children age 6 months to 10 years, and medical-care professionals and first responders. The department will begin school-based clinics in partnership with all county school districts this week. The department’s goal is to complete all school-based clinics by Nov. 30. Parents and students will be notified directly by their school district of clinic schedules and times. Parents are encouraged to complete all forms provided by the schools in advance to ensure efficient vaccination events. Registration is available online at www.odh.ohio.gov.
