Learn how to choose a pet for your lifestyle

SALEM — Anyone thinking about getting a pet is invited to attend a free informative program from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Quaker Room of Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., Salem, OH 44460.

Jan Palmer and Heather Jurina of the Humane Society of Columbiana County will provide information on how to choose a pet for your lifestyle, good places to get a pet, and how to properly care for the pet.
