BINGO, CARD PARTIES
• Our Lady of Hungary Church, 545 N. Belle Vista Ave., is having a Texas Hold’em tournament beginning at noon Saturday. The doors open and cash games begin at noon; the tournament begins at 4 p.m. Preregister online at tomkatpoker.com or call (330) 610-5775 and receive an extra $500 in chips. There will be free food, coffee and water. Buy-in is $60 for a 33 percent rake; there are no rebuys. Players get $4,000 in starting chips; there is a $5 add-on for “player of the year” points. BOOK FAIRS
• Rich Center for Autism at Youngstown State University will have a book fair from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Barnes & Noble bookstore at the Shops at Boardman Park. A portion of the purchases made that day will go to the Rich Center. Customers are reminded to mention the center when paying for purchases. Story times will be 10:30 a.m., and 4:30 and 7 p.m. Scavenger hunts will be at 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. An information table about the center will be available all day. CRAFT SHOWS

• Craft vendors are invited to participate in a craft show to be sponsored by St. Jude Women’s Guild from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 21 at St. Jude Activity Center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. FLEA MARKETS
• Yard sale, garage sale, regift, collectible and flea market vendors are invited to participate in an indoor flea market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 21 at the First Presbyterian Church, 28 E. Park Ave., Columbiana, during Christmas in Columbiana weekend. Vendors can reserve an 8-foot table and two chairs for $12 and keep all proceeds. All items are subject to approval. Setup will be from 7-9 a.m. The Alpha Omega youth group will serve a hot-soup and sandwich lunch. In addition to handcrafted and homemade items, there also will be a bake sale and a quilt raffle. NIGHT AT THE RACES
• Rodef Sholom Brotherhood will present a Night at the Races at the temple, 1119 Elm St., on Saturday as a fundraiser for the temple. Gates open at 7 p.m., and post time is 7:45. Admission is $15 to sponsor a horse, naming rights and a light supper. Admission is $10 and includes a light supper of deli sandwiches, wine, beer and soft drinks. • Salvation Army Thrift Store in Austin Center, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. A variety of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and bric-a-brac is available at bargain prices.
SPECIAL EVENTS
• Shrine of Our Lady, Comforter of the Afflicted, 517 S. Belle Vista Ave., is having a Thanksgiving basket and 50-50 raffle. First prize is a turkey, ham and trimmings basket, second prize is a family fun basket, and third prize is a wine and cheese basket. Tickets cost $1 each or six for $5. The drawing will be Nov. 22 after the noon Mass. Tickets will be for sale after every Mass or can be purchased at the office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Winners need not be present. Proceeds will benefit the shrine.
TRIPS
