Recipients named for Fred Perry motorcycle run fundraiser

Two children and an organization that helps young cancer victims have been chosen as the beneficiaries of the 19th annual Fred Perry motorcycle run, which was in August.

They are Josie Greco, 18 months, of Edinburg, Pa, who has cerebral palsy and is in need of a kidney transplant; Mariah Leskovac, 4, of Girard, who is afflicted with euroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer; and the ROCcK Children’s Choir of Youngstown. ROCcK (Raising Our Commitment to cancer Kids) comprises survivors, siblings and those who have been touched by cancer between the ages of 3 and 17.

The Perry family will present checks to the three recipients at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the AwwwMazing Place in Southern Park Mall, Boardman. The amount of the checks was not disclosed. The event is open to the public.
