Campbell alumni plan third scholarship dinner

CAMPBELL — The Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association will have its third annual scholarship Dinner Nov. 14 at the Community Center in Roosevelt Park. The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a social hour during which hors d’oeuvres will be served, followed by dinner at 6 p.m.

All alumni are encouraged to attend and/or contribute to this major fundraising event for the alumni association. All proceeds from the dinner will be used for annual scholarships awarded to Campbell Memorial graduating seniors. To date, the association has awarded 20 scholarships worth almost $20,000.

A reverse raffle will feature a grand prize of $2,000. There also will be five $100 winners. Tickets are $100 each, and each ticket entitles the ticket holder to take a guest at an additional cost of $25. Only 100 tickets will be sold, on a first-come, first served basis.

To buy a ticket, send a check made payable to the Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association ($100 for 1, $125 with one guest) to the Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association, 280 Sixth St., Campbell OH 44405, and your ticket number preference, if any.
