Miss Christensen, Mr. Hallas plan November rite

The engagement of Julie Christensen, a daughter of David Christensen and Teresa Christensen, both of Columbus, and Keith Hallas, a son of Howard and Suzanne Hallas of Poland, is being announced by their parents.

The couple have planned a wedding for Nov. 21 at Good Hope Lutheran Church, Boardman, and a reception at the B&O Station Hall in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for both.

The bride-elect graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree and is a mathematics instructor at Columbus State Community College.

Mr. Hallas, a music teacher at Central Crossing High School in Grove City, earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from Youngstown State University.
