Geo C releases its third studio album, ‘Geology’
YOUNGSTOWN — Geo C and Tha Storm released its latest album, “Geology,” on Tuesday.
“The title came from the idea that it represents a study of my life and experiences that are heartfelt, compelling and unique, but also relates to the earth and nature,” said George Case, the band’s leader.
“Geology” is the fifth CD — and third studio release — from the popular dance-funk band.
It is available for $10 at Geo’s Music, 102 W. Federal St., downtown, and at any of the band’s live shows.
A CD-release party will be at The Lemon Grove, 122 W. Federal St., at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 20.
The band’s prior releases include the “Truth Funk Experience” and “A Better Way”; and two live albums: “Funk Is Alive” and “Fonkin’ Up Yo’Town.”
“Geology” was recorded at Head Room Studios in Warren and Underdog Studios in Hubbard.
It was released on the band’s own label, Earthtone Recordings.
