Mahone, Hanni leading in Youngstown school board race

YOUNGSTOWN — With just over one-third of the countywide votes in, the Mahoning County Board of Elections showed that two political newcomers leading the pack in the race for three Youngstown Board of Education seats.

Andrea Mahone was at the top of the list followed by Rachel Hanni. The three incumbents, Lock P. Beachum Sr., Dominic Modarelli and Jacqueline Taylor trailed them in that order.
