Veteran Struthers law director resigns at end of the month
STRUTHERS — The city’s law director will resign at the end of the month.
Carol Clemente-Wagner, who has been at the post since 1993, sent her letter of resignation to Mayor Terry Stocker. He received it Friday, Stocker said.
Clemente-Wagner said she was acting prosecutor for the city in 1993 after prosecutor James Lanzo became municipal court judge. She was appointed to the post in January 1994, and was elected from thereon, she said.
Her current term was to be expire Dec. 31, 2011.
