• 55 Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Members are asked to take a casserole to share. Hostesses are Marge Guthrie and Suzie Merg.

1418 AUXILIARY

• 1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Byzantine Center, 3801 Shady Run Road. John Texter will preside. Cancellations must be made by Monday to Kay Shabella at (330) 755-0459. Any call after that date will not be accepted. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played. • Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Use new entrance to church. Blood pressure will be taken until the meeting. Timothy Wertz, a veteran of the Iraq war, is the speaker. There are a few seats left for the trip to Pittsburgh to see the Radio City Rockettes. The directors meeting will be at the Canfield church on Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. Dues will be collected for the new year. Reservations will be taken for the Christmas lunch Dec. 7 at A La Cart. • Retirees of Ajax Magnethermic will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Station Square, 4250 Belmont Ave. Guests are welcome.

BROWNLEE WOODS

• Brownlee Woods Senior Citizens meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday at Faith Community Covenant Church, at the corner of Sheridan Road and Midlothian Boulevard. Members play card games such as 500 and pinochle for fun — no money is involved. The group is planning its Christmas party in December. Take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. • Cornersburg Happy Seniors will meet at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield, with Betsy Koneval presiding. Dinner will be served at a cost of $10. A speaker from WRTA will discuss the services of the Western Reserve Transit Authority’s “Door to Door “program. Greeters will be Dorothy Wood and Carolyn Steiner.
