STRUTHERS — Roth scored three times in the top of the eighth to improve to 3-2 on the year. Nick Reinthaler hit a bases-loaded double to plate the three runs while Bubba Uhlman had two hits and drove home five runs for the winners. Kyle Kesner tossed 22‚Ñ3 scoreless innings for the win. Mike McClung had four singles for Livi Steel (1-3).
Rondinelli Tuxedo 3, Action Physical Therapy 2
Nathan Junk hit a sacrifice fly to plate the winning run in the bottom of the seventh . Jake Double had a single and a double while Craig Eshelman tossed a three-hit complete game with nine strikeouts for Rondinelli (3-1). Tim Schiraldi drove home both Action runs with a sixth-inning double while Mike Riffe went the route in defeat for Action (1-3), striking out two.
1080 Media 15, Youngstown Express 3
1080 Media scored eight times in the first inning and posted its third win in four starts. Evan Campbell and Mick Mansur had two doubles each while Anthony Raschilla added a single and a double for 1080. Nick Timko went five innings for the win allowing no earned runs with four strikeouts. Eric French had a triple and Matt Carbone a double for the Express (0-3).
Dave Sugar Excavating 10, Astro Falcons 4
Dave Sugar used a six-run third inning and won for the first time this season in handing the Astros their first loss. Nick Crum had three hits while GJ Senchak had a triple and a single with four runs batted in for Sugar. Mike Gatta went the first four inning for the win allowing no earned runs. Jared Turocy had a bases-loaded triple for the Astros (3-1) in the bottom of the seventh.
Wharmby Sports 6, OTN Performance 4
Josh Saverko tossed a complete-game five-hitter with three strikeouts for Wharmby Sports. Chris Miller, Jason Burkes and Tony Koch had two hits each for the winners (2-1). Gary Revale had two singles while Jordan Miller tossed 32‚Ñ3 innings of scoreless relief for OTN (3-2). Robert Franks (1-1) suffered the loss, allowing five earned runs in three innings.

Knights 5, Cleats Cub Seat Grille 4
WARREN — The Knights won their season opener on Friday, scoring twice in the sixth inning. Jeremy Krol had a pair of doubles for the Knights and Andy Todor singled twice. Adam Sepesy picked up the win in relief of Jeremy Hartman. the first four innings for the Knights, and was relieved by Adam Sepsey who earned the win. Tom Williams picked up his first save of the season. Cliff Panezich and Nick Lawrence each had a double and base hit for Cleats, and Ryan Karson also hit a two-bagger. Panezich also drove in three runs.
