Sabellis celebrate 60th anniversary at family party

BOARDMAN — Daniel Sr. and Rosemary Sabelli, of 1331 Quail Court, celebrated 60 years of marriage at a family gathering May 23 at the Boardman home of their daughter.

The Sabellis have three children, Diane Ziobert, Daniel Sabelli Jr. of Oberlin, and Ronald Sabelli of Boardman. Included in the family are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Before she retired in 1993, Mrs. Sabelli worked as a clerk-cashier for Minnesota Fabrics in Youngstown.

Mr. Sabelli retired from U.S. Steel as a motor inspector in 1980 and from WYTV, where he performed building maintenance, in 2002. He served in the United States Army in Japan.

The Sabellis are members of St. Matthias Church, Youngstown.

St. Ann Church in Brier Hill was the setting on May 19, 1949, when the former Rosemary Bacha and Mr. Sabelli were married.
