St. Columba Cathedral to present concert
YOUNGSTOWN — St. Columba Cathedral, 154 W. Wood St., will present a concert at 7 p.m. June 7 in celebration of the feast of St. Columba.
Colleen McNally-Harris, a Youngstown-based soprano who performs Celtic and sacred music, will present “Celtic Grace.”
She will be joined by Dr. Daniel Laginya, cathedral director of music; William Ambert, tenor; Kirk Kupensky, harpist; Craig Suhar, guitarist; Sharyn Chrystal, alto; and special guest, piper Andrew Bova of Pittburgh.
Musical selections will include traditional Celtic and sacred music from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England.
McNally-Harris belongs to the cathedral, where she is a cantor and choir member, and is part of the Chant Schola at St. Dominic Church.
The concert is free. A free-will collection will be taken for the benefit of the First Steps for Change Program of the Diocese of Youngstown Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Ministry.

Benefit concert
BOARDMAN — A benefit concert for the youth group mission and conference of Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, is planned at 6:30 p.m. June 7.
The event will feature the Bethel sanctuary choir, praise band and soloists.
Missionary Day program
YOUNGSTOWN — Phillips Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 718 Albert St., will sponsor it annual Missionary Day program and tea at 2 p.m. today.
Guest speaker will be Johanna Harris, Cleveland-Pittsburgh missionary president.
Amariah McIntosh is pastor.
Youth mission project
VIENNA — Vienna Presbyterian Church Youth Christian Education Class recently finished its mission project.
The group made five blankets during its Sunday classes and gave them to the Warren Family Mission.
Participants were Brittany Snead, Madison Palm, Benjamin Dewberry, Jenny Snead, Aaron Anzur, Olivia Baker and teacher, Jean Jones.
Healing drum circle
VILLA MARIA, Pa. — Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center will have a healing drum circle from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 8.
Facilitator Jason Lynn has been drumming for more than 20 years.
There is no registration or fee required; an offering of $7 will be accepted.
Participants may bring their own drums or use ones provided.

YOUNGSTOWN — New Hope Baptist Church, 437 Albert St., will present a musical trip down memory lane at 5 p.m. Sunday with hymns and songs from the past performed by local choirs and soloists.
Missionary program
CAMPBELL — Faith Temple Baptist Church, 125 Roosevelt Drive, will sponsor a missionary program at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Guest speaker will be Pastor Larry Parker of Fellowship Baptist Church and members of the congregration will attend.
Rosary cenacle
YOUNGSTOWN — The Shrine of Our Lady, Comforter of the Afflicted, 517 S. Belle Vista Ave., and Queen of the Holy Rosary Prayer Group have scheduled a rosary cenacle at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the shrine.
Refreshments will follow in the social hall.
Diocesan guild to meet
CAMPBELL — The diocesan Infant Jesus of Prague Guild will meet June 17 at St. Michael Byzantine Church, 205 Robinson Road, and mark its 62nd anniversary.
There will be a brunch for $12. Reservations are requested by June 11 with individual guild representatives.
There also will be a Chinese auction.
The rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. and the Mass at 10.
