Crums mark 50th with family at private dinner

CANFIELD — Ralph and Helen Crum, 25 Camelot Court, are gathering with loved ones today for a private family dinner party at Harry & Jean’s in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple have three sons, Myron (Mary) Crum of South Elgin, Ill.; Daniel Crum of Columbus; and Ralph “Mac” (Kristine) Crum of Bristow, Va. Hosting the party are daughters-in-law Mary and Kristine, and granddaughter Kelley Crum. There are six grandchildren in the family.

Mrs. Crum is a homemaker and a member of St. Christine Church.

Mr. Crum is professor emeritus at Youngstown State University, where he retired in 1996. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, The American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Penguin Club.

Mr. Crum and the former Helen McCarthy were married on May 30, 1959, at St. Edward Church in Youngstown.

In celebration of their anniversary, the couple will be vacationing in Ireland this summer.
