ASSOCIATIONS

• American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will have its annual Spring Dinner Guest Day and installation of officers Wednesday in the gathering room of Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave. Installation will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. Reservations are required for the $10 dinner. • The Mill Creek Chapter of ABWA will meet June 9 at A La Cart in Canfield. The dinner meeting will begin at 6:30 and will cost $13.50 for a picnic theme. The guest speaker is Sue Strickland of the Home Savings and Loan Bank. Call in reservations by Tuesday to (330) 788-6634.

• The McDonald Baseball Association will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room, post office building.

• St. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet at noon June 8 in the private dining room to hear Patty Rush speak.

• Girard Band Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the high school cafeteria.

• Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s restaurant on Route 224 in Boardman.

• Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1950 will meet for a luncheon at noon Wednesday at Yankee Kitchen on Market Street.

• Fairfield Waterford High School Class of 1959 will meet for dinner at 6 p.m. Monday at Heck’s.

• Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s on Route 224 in Boardman.

• Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following meetings: Niles Silver Thimbles at Viking Sewing Center, 40 Youngstown-Warren Road, Pine Tree Square Plaza at 10 a.m. Thursday; and ASG @ Joann ETC at 6:30 p.m. June 6 for a trip to the First Presbyterian Church in Salem for a quilt show.

• Girard Knights of Columbus Council 2935 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the K. of C. Hall, 122 S. State St.

• Girard K of C Ladies Auxiliary will have an indoor picnic at 7 p.m. Monday at the K. of C. Hall. Cost is $2.50 at the door and members may take one guest. Rosalyn Ragozine is chair.

• McDonald Knights of Columbus will meet at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the K. of C. Hall, Illinois Ave.

• The St. Rose Church Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the parish house.

• D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, has planned the following events: Wednesday, golf at short holes in Mill Creek at 6 p.m.; Thursday, new member meeting at Disciples Christian Church at 7:30, and Friday, cheap movies at Boardman Park at 6:30. SUPPORT GROUPS

• Park Vista Retirement Community will have its Low-Vision Support Group meeting at 10 a.m. June 9 in the North Lounge, at 1310 Fifth Ave. The June meeting will feature Mona Pacatko from the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. Her topic will be “Services and Equipment for the Visually Impaired.” Meetings are free and open to the public. The group will take a summer break in July and resume in August. • Scleroderma Foundation Youngstown Area Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Lucianno’s Restaurant, Raccoon Road, Austintown. Meetings are the first Monday of each month. “Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma” sixth annual walk will be June 6.
