Beatty-Duesing wedding to be in late summer

BOARDMAN — Therese and George Beatty, 4117 Arden Blvd., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Denise Beatty, and Matthew Duesing, a son of Robert Duesing, 4034 Sylvia Lane, all of Boardman.

The bride elect, a server at Applebee’s, is attending Youngstown State University.

The future groom is OPATA certified after attending YSU, and is a former deputy sheriff with Mahoning County Sheriff’s office in Youngstown.

The couple have planned an open wedding that will take place at 1 p.m. Sept. 12 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks, Youngstown.

Invitations will be issued for their reception at the Byzantine Center at the Grove in Youngstown.
