Village Inn gazebo chosen for Jones, Carr July wedding

PETERSBURG — Margaret Ellen Jones, 12253 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, and Curtis William Carr, of the same address, are announcing their engagement and plans for their upcoming marriage.

They have chosen the gazebo at Das Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana for their 4 p.m. July 24 wedding. Their reception will follow at the banquet center at the Inn.

The bride is a daughter of Anne Jones, 1446 Girard Road, Mineral Ridge, and the late Robert Jones. Parents of the future groom are David and Sylvia Carr of Sunnyside, Newfoundland, Canada, and Amy and Mike Murdy of Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.

Miss Jones graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, and from Ashland University with a master’s in educational administration. She is a kindergarten teacher with Springfield Local School District.

Mr. Carr is employed by Youngstown Phantoms Hockey Team as an associate coach and director of player development. He graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education teacher certification K-12, and a master’s in sport and recreation management.
