Symphony guild installs officers

Youngstown Symphony Guild installed officers for the coming season during a recent meeting at the DeYor Performing Arts Center.

Assuming the duties of various offices are, from left, Elizabeth Mancini, recording secretary; Carol Bertolini, corresponding secretary; Frankie Harbol, treasurer; Dianne Ferro, vice president; and Mercy Komar, president.

Arrangements were made for an opening night Masterworks pre-concert dinner on Sept. 26; a fashion festival on Oct. 11, brunch with Santa on Dec. 5; a gala on April 17, 2010; and a Come Play Fore the Symphony golf outing in the summer of 2010. The guild will also host receptions for the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra and Youngstown Symphony Youth Orchestra and assist the Youngstown Symphony Society with season ticket campaigns.
