BOARDMAN — Vows were exchanged during a 4:30 p.m. Nov. 15, 2008, ceremony as Nina Ilene Kinney and Nickolaus Joseph Lockard, both of 5318 Cedar Lane, Columbia, Md., were united in marriage at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.

The Rev. Wayne Doberstyn officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Bruce and Karen Kinney, 8557 Reserve Court, and the son of Christine Lockard of Boardman and Miles Lockard of Youngstown. A reception followed at Harry and Jean’s Restaurant in Canfield.

The couple postponed their honeymoon and live in Columbia.

The bride’s lace gown featured a halter neckline, a trumpet skirt and a chapel train.

A black gown was worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Sarah Jayne Kinney of Cincinnati.

Paul Lockard best man for his brother, and ushers were Daniel Carhart and Matthew Carhart.

Mrs. Lockard is a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Md. She graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in social work, and from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Mr. Lockard served as a staff sergeant with the U.S. Air Force Reserve, 910th Air Wing. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Youngstown State University and is an electrical engineer with Northrop Grumman in Baltimore.
