YOUNGSTOWN — Alison Blasko and Eric Gunderson, both of Westland, Mich., were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony April 18 at St. Dominic Catholic Church.

The Rev. Gregory Salomone officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Michael and Rita Blasko of Boardman, and the son of Dave and Carol Gunderson of Livonia, Mich.

A reception followed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall.

The bride’s white satin A-line gown featured silver beading on the bodice, skirt and train.

Molly Blasko was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Joy Dunn, Kerri Gibson, Theresa Blasko, Andrea Gunderson, Deanna Deroo, Marybeth Miles, Jennifer Moore, Frances Reese, Meggan Preston, and Lauren Kotzian. They wore dusty rose gowns. Flower girl was Grace Masterson, and junior flower girl was Harper Dunn.

Best man was Brent Kempster, and groomsmen were Mike Blasko, Greg Blasko, Scott Blasko, Anthony Hall, Adam Wysocki, Mike Hunter, Scott Theimann, David Campbell, Tim Knight, Louis Tse, and Ryan Allen. Ring bearer was Brady Dunn, and junior ring bearer was Jack Gibson,.

The bride earned a nanny certificate from the English Nanny and Governess School in Chagrin Falls, and is a self-employed nanny in Novi, Mich.

The groom is employed in corporate security with Olympia Entertainment in Detroit. He is pursuing a degree in criminal justice at Schoolcraft Community College in Livonia, Mich
