YOUNGSTOWN — Anne M. Walters, St. Andrews Drive, Canfield, and Mort Mohaddes, The Woodlands, Houston, Texas, were united in marriage during a noon ceremony on April 25 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks.

The bride’s cousin, the Rev. Marc Walters, officiated at the wedding, and the couple greeted guests during a reception at Youngstown Country Club.

Parents of the bride are Ann and Michael Walters, Country Club Drive, Mount Lebanon, Pa., and the groom’s parents are Patricia and Mort Mohaddes, Villa Rosa Drive, Canfield.

After a wedding trip to the Grand Cayman Island, the couple live in Houston.

The bride wore a white strapless silk taffeta dress with a corset back and sweep train. Her veil was gathered to a beaded crown enhanced with orchids.

Susan Walters of New York, N.Y., was the honor attendant for her sister, and another sister, Gina Walters of Pittsburgh, was the bridesmaid. They wore lilac gowns.

Performing the duties of best man was the groom’s brother, Michal Mohaddes of Los Angeles, and Kevin Mohaddes of Boston was groomsman for his brother.

Mrs. Mohaddes is a sales representative for Merck in Pittsburgh. She graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor’s degree in business.

Mr. Mohaddes earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Rice University in Houston and is employed by Accenture in Houston.
