Dessert tasting event at Alliance hospital

ALLIANCE — Alliance Community Hospital Foundation has scheduled a “Taste of Spring Dessert Tasting” fundraiser from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Conference Room 1-A.

Featured will be six vendors, including the nutrition services department at the hospital, who will offer mini-sized portions of baked goods for tasting. The vendors will also accept orders for their baked goods.

The cost for the tasting will be $5 for ACH employees and those 65 or older, $6 for adults, and $2 for children 10 and younger. Proceeds will benefit the hospital foundation. For more information contact (330) 596-7575.

Water hauling offer

WHEATLAND — Wheatland Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring a water hauling project as a fundraiser. Any area resident who needs water for a swimming pool or hot tub should call (330) 501-9685 anytime, or (724) 347-7060 on weekdays.

Free dance scheduled
