Ursuline softball wins district title

LISBON — Rebecca Hartz scored the winning run in the ninth inning on a sacrifice bunt by Casey Lower to give Ursuline a 3-2 victory over Champion in the Division III softball district final Friday.

Ursuline, now 24-5, advances to the regional semifinals on May 28 in Massillon at Genshaft Park.

Champion’s season concludes with a 19-6 record.
