ASSOCIATIONS

• Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Ohio Chapter M, will have a meeting Saturday at the Yankee Kitchen, 6655 Market St., Boardman. Following the 5 p.m. dinner, the Buckeye Rally, Wing Ding 2009, annual picnic, and upcoming dinners and rides will be discussed. All bikers are welcome. CLASSES

• Chaney High School January and June 1942 Alumni will meet at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Croatian Home, 3200 Vestal Road, for their 67th reunion. There will be a buffet dinner. Make reservations by calling Ray Kinn, (330) 792-0750.

• Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1945 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Inner Circle Restaurant in Boardman. Guests and classmates are welcome.

CLUBS

• Hubbard Fortnightly IV will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the parking lot of Hubbard City Building and carpool to Mill Creek Park. There will be lunch at the Davis Center followed by a tour of the gardens. The season will end with a picnic June 25 at Harding Park.

• Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following meeting: Southington So-Sews at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Southington Christian Church, 3285 state Route 534. The program will be a reversible table runner demonstration by Virginia Hardman.

• Ohio Cultural Alliance will have its final catered dinner meeting of the season June 1 at the Maronite Center, 1555 S. Meridian Road. The speaker will be Joseph Nohra, retired chief financial officer of the Cafaro Co. Cultural enrichment will be by the Antonine Sisters of Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine. The cost is $13 for paid-up members and $18 for guests. Reservations are required by Tuesday by mailing a check, payable to the alliance, to OCA, P.O. Box 561, Canfield, Oh 44406-0561.

• Warren Republican Women will meet at 6 p.m. June 4 at DiLucia’s Restaurant, Elm Road, Warren. Election of officers is on the agenda. Hostesses will be Olga Sten and Phyllis Preszioso. The cost for the dinner is $13.50. For reservations call (330) 856-5228.

• Youngstown South Christian Women’s Club will have a “Scents of Summer” luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. June 11 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Sandra Evans will present Pure Spa Scentsations and the soloist will be Leighan Wells. “Handling the Changing World” will be the theme of Billie Brink of Butler, Pa. • Youngstown Women’s Connection will sponsor a luncheon “No Room to Grow,” from noon to 2 p.m. June 9 at Lucianno’s Banquet Room, 1739 W. Raccoon Road, Austintown. Featured will be a program on container gardening by Marcy Dubec, special music by Trevor Coleman, and a talk by Letitia Hicks. The cost is $10. • McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the McDonald post office building.

• Dublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, and a memorial program will be given by Sandie Reel.

GUILDS

• Youngstown Chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America will meet at 10 a.m. and at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the IOOF Hall in Canfield. Sally Svoboda will preside. The project will be a flower garden bunny, taught by Judy Powers. Members are to take stitching supplies, lighting and magnification if necessary, and a 5-inch hoop. Visitors are welcome. • D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, has planned the following events: Monday, Memorial Day picnic at Master’s Pavilion in Boardman Park at noon; Tuesday, dancing at Lucianno’s at 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday, walking at Mill Creek Park from parking lot of Dr. Shah; and Thursday, meeting at Disciples Christian Church at 7:30. SUPPORT GROUPS

• Mended Hearts support group for heart survivors and their families will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Azalea Room at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman Campus. An optional dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. in the Terrace Cafe. Guest speaker will be Mary Ann Cashire, RN, MSN, Stroke Center coordinator at St. Elizabeth Health Center. • Multiple Sclerosis Services Agency, Mahoning County Support Group, will meet at 6 p.m. June 2 at Austinwoods Health Care Center, 4780 Kirk Road, Austintown.
