Valley grad authors book, shares Alzheimer’s journey


COLUMBIANA — Wayne Glenn Terry, 1962 graduate of Jackson-Milton High School and author of “Time Zones ... Slipping Away,” a book about his journey with Alzheimer’s disease and coping skills for those living with a dementia disease, will speak at 3 p.m. Friday at Windsor House, St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center, 1899 West Garfield Road.

He also will sign books and speak from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at Poland Public Library, 311 S. Main St., Poland.

Terry lives in Virginia with his wife, Donna; his three children live in the Mahoning and Columbiana areas.

Copies of the book may be purchased online at www.amazon.com or www.fatherspress.com for $21.80 plus shipping. There also will be books available at both locations at a discounted price. All proceeds from the book sale will be donated to Alzheimer’s disease research.
