Shots fired into East Side home, no injuries reported

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are trying to determine who is responsible for firing several shots into an occupied home on the city’s East Side.

A 32-year-old city woman told police she noticed two men in a blue Ford Taurus with temporary tags sitting in front of her Willow Court apartment at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver of the car, she said, pulled out a gun and fired five shots at her home. Two shots came through the wall and three shots came through a living-room window.

Police found five shell casings in front of the house. No one was injured.
