CORTLAND — St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church was the setting Oct. 4, 2008, as Sally Binanti and Albert Falasca were united in marriage by the Rev. Carl Kish.

After a reception at the Avalon Inn and Resort in Warren, the couple left for a honeymoon in Paris and Nice, France.

Parents of the bride are Joanne and Gabriele Binanti of Flushing, N.Y., and the groom’s parents are Donato and Lillian Falasca of Champion.

The bride’s ivory Alen ßon lace gown was enhanced with Swarowski crystals and featured a cathedral train.

The honor attendant, Adriana Binanti, wore a burgundy gown, as did the bridesmaids, Cindy Acker, Denise Bergler, Paige Neifert, Norma Mancini, Gia Mancini, Linda Rodriguez; and Diana Saadat. Junior bridesmaid was Alisa Mancini, and flower girl was Alaina Rich.

David Mahan was best man, and groomsmen were Kurt Jackson, Bob Laird Jr., David Laird, Jonathan Mahan, Frank Mancini, Paul Rich and John Santore.

The bride was an officer with the Air Force. She graduated from the State University College at Brockport, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree in social work, and from Fordham University in New York with a master’s in social work. She is a social worker in Youngstown.

The groom is a sales representative with Merck and Co. in Youngstown. He earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Miami University at Oxford.
