WORTHINGTON — Worthington Inn was the setting Aug. 23, 2008, for the wedding of Bridget Kate Weizer and Richard Peter Granger, both of Columbus, and for their reception afterward.

Elayne Blair officiated at the ceremony.

After a wedding trip to Cape Cod, the couple live in Columbus.

The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Hugh B. Fagan of Youngstown and Timothy J. Weizer of Chicago; and the late Hugh Fagan and the late Lorrayne Weizer. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Peter R. Granger of Twinsburg.

The bride wore a sleeveless ivory silk gown

Ivory and black gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Laura Granger, a sister of the groom; and Emma and Reese Kasich.

The duties of best man were performed by David DeFranco.

The bride attended St. Mary’s College at Notre Dame, Ind., and Ohio State University. She will graduate this summer from Franklin University in Columbus with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business administration. She is vice president of the Web and Interactive Division of Mills-Jemas Productions in Columbus.

The groom is a principal research scientist for Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus. He graduated from OSU with bachelor’s master’s degrees in engineering, and a master’s in business Administration.
