REUNIONS | Former classmates plan to meet

• Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, is celebrating its 50th anniversary during 2009. The anniversary education committee is inviting all former and present principals, teachers and students of Blessed Sacrament School to join in the celebration by attending a Mass at 4 p.m. June 27 at the church, and a reception to follow in Holy Family Hall. * Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1954 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s on state Route 224, Boardman. All classmates and guests are welcome.

• Hubbard High School Class of 1951 will meet at noon Thursday at Frankie’s. All classmates are welcome.

• A reunion and picnic are scheduled from noon to 8 p.m. Sept. 5 on Murdock Street. Residents of the entire east side will be involved in the event. An open planning meeting will be at 3 p.m. June 13 at Ray Hightower’s, corner of Stewart and Bennington Avenue. • South High School Alumni Association will have its 35th annual reunion banquet June 26 at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road. Social hour will be a 6 p.m. (cash bar) and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The cost is $20 per person and the final reservation date is June 17. • South High School January and June Classes of 1946 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. May 29 at Denny’s on Route 224 in Boardman. All classmates and their spouses are welcome.
