Reception and concert

What: A celebration and concert to mark the Scottish Rite Cathedral’s acceptance to the National Registry of Historic Places.

When: May 29.

Where: Scottish Rite Cathedral, 110 E. Lincoln Ave., New Castle, Pa.

Details: A cocktail reception featuring a swing band will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in the main dining room. Tickets are $25. A concert by the Glenn Miller Orchestra will begin at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. Tickets are $20.
