Women Hand in Hand sets scholarship brunch

YOUNGSTOWN — Women Hand in Hand will have its 23rd Annual Scholarship brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel Ave.

The guest speaker will be Yvonne Mathis, a native of Detroit. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Malone College and an MBA from Youngstown State University. Mathis is the former director of diversity and multicultural affairs at North East Ohio Universities College of Medicine and is president of the Mathis Group, LLC, an educational and business consulting firm.
