BOARDMAN — Home Instead Senior Care has honored local franchise owner Carol Hitchcock of Boardman with its Hallmark I Award. The award was presented for superior sales and service satisfaction.

YOUNGSTOWN — Rebecca Tennant and Kimberly Jansen, interior designers at Strollo Architects, received awards from the American Society of Interior Designers. Tennant received the Interior of the Year First Place Award for Healthcare Facilities for her design of the Boardman campus of St. Elizabeth Health Center. Jansen received the Honorable Mention Award for Institutional Facilities for her design of Kirkmere Elementary School in Youngstown.

HERMITAGE, Pa. — Frank Magno, a financial consultant with First National Investment Services Co., has completed the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselors professional designation program from the College for Financial Planning. The curriculum emphasizes the importance of understanding each client’s financial situation and identifying investment opportunities to suit the client’s needs.

YOUNGSTOWN — The Ohio Trucking Association has named Teddy Aiken of Ellwood City, Pa., as one of the best 12 truck drivers in Ohio. He is a driver for John Brown Trucking in Youngstown. Aiken, 59, has a 39-year driving career, having covered more than 4 million miles without an accident.

YOUNGSTOWN — Greg Krieger of Boardman, a pharmacist and area sales manager for CarePoint Partners in Youngstown, has been installed as a trustee for the Ohio Pharmacists Association. He is a graduate of Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy.
