Family honors Sturdevants on 60th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Sturdevant of Youngstown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary May 7.

Mr. Sturdevant and the former Jane Miller were united in marriage May 7, 1949, at the Chapel of Friendly Bells.

The couple have three sons and six grandchildren. They were honored at dinner at the Upstairs Lounge in Austintown by their sons, Robert (Tracy), Douglas (Liane) and Dale (Linda).

As part of their anniversary celebration, the Sturdevants are planning a trip to Hawaii, where they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
