• Boardman South Chapter 4545 of AARP will meet at 11:30 a.m. June 4 at Holiday Inn South in Boardman. Elmer Haidle will preside, and Helen Rieder of St. Charles Church will give a program on “Yoga for Seniors.” The menu choice is Swiss steak or baked scrod for $13.50. • Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Denny’s in Boardman.

CROATIAN PENSIONERS

• Croatian Pensioners of Mahoning Valley will have a 39th Founders Day celebration Thursday beginning with Mass at 11 a.m. and followed by a sit-down dinner at noon at the Croatian Home, 3200 Vestal Road. • The Girard OldTimers monthly luncheon meeting will take place at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lamancusa Restaurant, Trumbull Avenue.

HOLY NAME

• Holy Name Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. May 24 in Founders Hall for lunch, cards and bingo. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and there will be drawings. On the lunch committee are Ann and Joe Tomtak, and Agnes and Larry Phillips. Wilma Kutlick will preside, and Ginnie Miller, Marge Bada and Vickie Long will give reports.

LIBERTY 55-PLUS

• Liberty 55-Plus Seniors will have a Mother’s Day luncheon at noon Thursday at the Gentry on Liberty Street in Hubbard. Kay Herberger will preside and hostesses will be Jo Hartman, Louise Leone, and Rosie Sferra. There will be a 50-50 raffle and an observance of April and May birthdays.

LOCAL 1199

• Local 1199 will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the union hall on Belmont Ave. Everyone is urged to attend.

LOCAL 2243

• Retirees of Local 2243, U.S.W.A. Copperweld Steel (S.O.A.R. 1-28-10) will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at Local 1375 Union Hall, 84 N. Park Ave., Warren. The guest speaker will be Judge Richard L. James of family court.

MARTHA LUPSE

• Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Mary Murar will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. • Public Employees Retirees Inc. will meet at noon June 2 at the ITAM Club on Meridian Road in Youngstown. Guest speaker will be Jim Petuch, director of the recycling division of Mahoning County Green Team. There will be a buffet menu including pasta, meatballs, chicken, tossed salad, rolls, butter, coffee/tea and sherbet for dessert. The cost is $7 for members, associate members and guests, payable at the door.
