District conference
HUBBARD — Greater Mahoning Valley District Women’s Conference will be at Phillips Chapel Church of God in Christ, 3903 Jacobs Road, where Paul Loggins is host pastor and superintendent emeritus.
There will be a service at 6 p.m. and banner march at 7 on Thursday.
Evangelist Hazel Templeton of Toledo will speak at 6 p.m. Friday and the Sunshine Band will perform at 7.
The theme is “Holy Women Possessing a Covenant Relationship with God.”
Canary Howard, district missionary, and elder Russ Johnson, district superintendent, are making arrangements.
Drama ministry
WARREN — The drama ministry of New Jerusalem Fellowship, 2555 Palmyra Road, will sponsor a dinner theater Friday. Dinner will be at 4:30 p.m. with the show at 7. Cost is $20 for both and $10 for the show only.

At Phillips Baptist
YOUNGSTOWN — The gospel choir of Phillips Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 1407 Victor Ave., will have an anniversary concert at 4 p.m. Sunday.
The church invites other adult choirs, male choruses and soloists to perform. Call the church at (330) 743-3792.
The church also will have a revival at 7 p.m. from Wednesday through Friday with the theme, “The Last Voice.”
Labyrinth walks
VILLA MARIA, Pa. — Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center will have its first outdoor labyrinth walk of the season from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Villa Maria Community Center.
The labyrinth is a tool for enriching the spiritual journey. Labyrinths have existed for more than 4,000 years and are found in every major religious tradition in the world.
Sister Therese Pavilonis will offer a brief history and introduction.
The first walk will feature music by Kirk Kupensky on the Celtic harp.
No registration is required but is appreciated. Donation is $7.

Dinner and discussion
GIRARD — Years ago, sex, politics and religion were off-limits as topics of discussion in the workplace.
What is the proper expression of the Christian faith in the workplace that balances respect for diversity and faithfulness to beliefs?
These and other related questions will be the basis for a dinner and discussion Sunday at First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church-Hill Road.
The potluck supper will be at 5 p.m. and the discussion at 6.

Guest speaker will be the Rev. George Wilkins, pastor of Mount Sinai Baptist Church.
The theme is “We’ve Come This Far by Faith.”
Drive-in services
ANDOVER — First United Methodist Church of Andover, 181 S. Main St., will sponsor the drive-in outdoor services for campers and all who are interested at 9:30 a.m. May 24-Sept. 6 at Wildwood Acres Campgrounds, intersection of state Route 7 and Marvin Road. There will be signs.
Special music featuring Dan Schall will be June 14 and Sound Witness, Aug. 9.
This is the 37th year for the services for which participants may sit in their cars, bring their own chairs or use seats provided.
Church anniversary
YOUNGSTOWN — Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 320 Elk St., will mark its 73rd anniversary Sunday.
Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 11. The celebration will continue at 3:30 p.m. with St. Peter’s Baptist Church and the Rev. William H. Wilson, pastor. Dinner also will be served.
The Rev. Sylvia L. Jennings is pastor. She, along with the late Rev. Elizabeth Powell, were the area’s first female pastors.
