Baldwin-Fields wedding plans are announced

YOUNGSTOWN — Announced by Charles and Joyce Baldwin, 1291 Stonington Drive, is the engagement of their daughter, Carla Janine Baldwin, of the same address, and Paul Cedric Fields Jr., a son of Paul and Robin Fields, all of 214 Reynolds Ave., Durham, N.C.

The bride-elect graduated from Capital University in Columbus with a bachelor’s degree in political science, and from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich., with a juris doctorate. She is employed by Mahoning County Prosecutor’s Office as an assistant county prosecutor, criminal division, in Youngstown.

The prospective groom is employed by Durham Public School District as a seventh- and eighth-grade social studies teacher at the W.G. Pearson Middle School. He graduated from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree in political science and history.

The couple have chosen Calvary Ministries International for their open wedding at 3 p.m. June 20, and Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman for their by-invitation reception that evening.
