Pulaski, Pa., man killed in Friday morning crash

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — A man was killed and two others were injured in an accident in Wilmington Township Friday morning, state police said.

The accident happened at 7:15 a.m. on State Route 18 just north of State Route 158.

A car traveling south, driven by Hanna E. Miljevich, 21, of Hillcrest Avenue in New Castle, crossed into the north lane and hit a car driven by Ronald E. Holt, 67, of Pulaski-Mercer Road in Pulaski, Pa.

Holt was killed, police said. Miljevich and a passenger, Vern R. Sipe Jr., 19, also of Hillcrest Avenue, were flown to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. Police said Miljevich had major injuries, while Sipe had moderate injuries.

The hospital refused to release information on their conditions.

Police said charges are pending after more investigation.
