Poland 11, Niles 0 POLAND – Erin Gabriel pitched a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts with no walks. Gabriel (8-2) missed a perfect game when a Niles batter was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning. Gabriel led the Bulldogs’ 15-hit attack with a double, single and two RBIs. Adrenna Sikora had three singles and one RBI while Karah Pierce and Jenna Modic had two singles and one RBI apiece. Jessica Dapolito had two doubles and Nicole White two singles.
Howland 10, Lakeview 9
HOWLAND — Erika Nites homered and drove in three runs for the Tigers (16-8). Gina Albani had three hits while Jena Debiec homered and had two RBIs. Amanda Delaquila doubled for Howland. For the Bulldogs (11-8), Mackenzie Pallette had three hits and Jessica Downs two. Raelynn Burns doubled while Alexis Neumeister drove in two runs.

RAVENNA — Winning pitcher Shannon Hamilton tossed a two-hitter with nine strikeouts. She also drove in two runs with two hits including a double. Emily Gahagan’s two hits included a double for the Pirates (15-5). Also with two hits were Tori Sigworth and Alyssa Bitz.

BOARDMAN — Casey Lower (18-5) tossed a no-hitter, striking out 15 batters and hitting one for the Irish (19-5). Rebecca Hartz had three singles and scored two runs while Malikka Caige hit a pair of two-run singles. Sarah Ingalls’ two hits included a double and drove in two runs. Kelli Kolenich doubled and scored to lead off Ursuline’s six-run third inning. Ursuline plays Newton Falls today at 4:30 p.m. at the Fields of Dreams. The Warriors are 4-16.
Springfield 13, Campbell 0
NEW MIDDLETOWN – Jessica Evan had a double, single and three RBIs to lead Springfield (17-5). Sisters Erica Burkey and Elissa Burkey combined to pitch a two-hitter with six strikeouts for the Tigers. Morgan Fagnano added two singles and two RBIs while Madison Groner and Erica Pitts had two RBIs each.
South Range 10, Crestview 0
NORTH LIMA — Winning pitcher Madison Yanek (14-4) tossed a one-hitter, striking out 10 and walking one for her fifth consecutive shutout. She also had three hits for the Raiders (17-6). Gab Naples had two hits while Katie Libb doubled. Today at 4:30 p.m., South Range plays at Springfield.
United 10, East Palestine 1
HANOVERTON — Stephanie Richards hit three doubles to drive in two runs and she scored three times for the Eagles (13-7). Erin Briceland’s three hits included two homers that drove in four runs as United advances to play at Lisbon today at 4:30 p.m. Winning pitcher Krista McCartney (11-6) struck out 15 and walked four. For the Bulldogs, Carly Blair doubled.
Girard 13, Maplewood 3
GIRARD — Junior Missy Weitzman and freshman designated-hitter Bryanna Jay each tripled for Girard (11-7) at Tod Park in a six-inning game. Jay finished with four RBIs and Weitzman knocked in two runs. Freshman Nikki Mazzella had three singles and three RBIs while junior Meghan McCale had two singles for the Indians. C. Thornton went 3-for-3 including a double for Maplewood. Girard, which finished runner-up to Champion in the All-American Conference Blue Tier, will play the Golden Flashes today at Champion.

BOARDMAN – Alex DiDomenico pitched a two-hitter for Boardman (17-6, 5-5 Federal League). Brooke Meenachan had an RBI for the Spartans.

AUSTINTOWN — Katie O’Loughlin homered while Alyssa Jones’ three hits included a double. Stephanie Berdis doubled for the Falcons (6-13).
Western Reserve 7, Sebring 0
BERLIN CENTER — Heather Monoski’s three hits included a double and drove in three runs as the Blue Devils won their 22nd straight Inter Tri-County League Tier Two game. Winning pitcher Elizabeth Srock (13-2) teamed up with Ashlee Grim for a no-hitter. Srock struck out 14 and walked two. She also hit a two-run double as Western Reserve (16-4, 12-0) clinched a tie for the league crown. Cissy Stubbs tripled and drove in two runs.
