Case presented to keep Go Go Cabaret closed

County prosecutors are putting forth their case to keep closed the Go-Go Cabaret.

This morning, three people testified during an injunction hearing in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court to decide whether the cabaret in Austintown should remain closed. Police raided the club about two weeks ago, making arrests for drugs.

Austintown Township Trustee Lisa Oles testified that the Clarkins Drive club has had a poor reputation in the community. “There are many people in the community who have formed an opinion. There's a reputation of them not being law-abiding citizens,” she said.

The prosecution plans to call 11 witnesses. A defense will be presented Monday.
