Woman arrested for hindering Youngstown cops in capture of three men
YOUNGSTOWN — City police have not captured the three men responsible for a grocery store robbery on the West Side, but they have arrested a woman they say is responsible for hindering the capture of those men.
Isha Butler, 19, of Tyrell Street pleaded not guilty to obstructing official business charges before Judge Elizabeth Kobly of municipal court. Butler’s attorney said she is anxious to fight the charges. Butler was released on her own recognizance.
According to reports, officers were sent to the Schenley Carryout convenience store in the 2000 block of Mahoning Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on a robbery call.
