Fires intentionally set at Forum Health Northside Medical Center

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown fire officials are trying to determine who intentionally set three fires in rooms at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.

Fire units were called to the medical facility at 500 Gypsy Lane in Youngstown just before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Firefighters found a paper towel dispenser had been intentionally set aflame in room 1104. Firefighters also found two additional fires had been set in rooms 1106 and 1107.

The fires were contained to the wall mounted paper towel dispensers where they had been set. Property loss is valued at about $2,000.
