Warren YWCA gets foundation money for roof repairs

WARREN — The YWCA Warren, 375 N. Park Ave., will receive $20,000 to repair the roof over the facility’s community room from the Youngstown Foundation’s Mahoning Valley Sports Charities Fund.

Shari Harrell, YWCA executive director, said the hundreds of people attend programs each week in the community room from numerous community and faith-based organizations. The room also is used for parties and family events, Harrell added.
